Hi there! My name is Derek Guerrette, LCPC, NCC, and I am the founder of New Perspectives Counseling Services LLC. I am currently licensed in the state of Maine as a LCPC, as well as a nationally certified counselor. I enjoy working with people who are working through things like trauma, anxiety, and depression. I also values humor and authenticity in my therapeutic relationships with clients. It is amazing what we can overcome with laughter.
I believe that there are all kinds of things going on in our lives that affect us, but we can’t exactly control them. The ultimate goal for the writing I do is to help you, the reader, to become more intentional in life and less reactive.
